Change is inevitable, Change is good.
Here at Pied Piper Children’s Theatre (PPCT), we are facing a change. For the past twenty years, PPCT has provided children ages 5-18 with the experience of live theatre from our home at Holy Trinity Church in the Upper Manhattan area of Inwood. Here, children have found a caring and supportive place to learn not only about the craft of theatre, but also about themselves. Hundreds of kids from our neighborhood and beyond have passed through our doors and found confidence, camaraderie, and joy.
But some doors are closing.
Holy Trinity is about to embark on an extensive renovation which will transform the property. While Holy Trinity will still remain a sponsor, PPCT will no longer be a ministry of the church and a new theatre space will need to be secured. To keep PPCT alive and thriving, families that have known the benefits of this inclusive, diverse, and character building program are determined to find a new home and full time artistic director. We believe that PPCT will continue to be an important asset to the community and are optimistic about our future.
And we need your help.
This Giving Tuesday, please consider the Pied Piper Children’s Theatre. Your donation will make possible a place where creative dreams are made real through hard work and dedication. A place where teenage members act as mentors to the younger ones, fostering close friendships and encouraging the kind of values that last a lifetime. A place that has meaning for our community.
We may be losing a building, but with your help, we will find our home
