2021 Summer Intensive
Calling all theatre-loving kids, ages 7-13!
Join us for Pied Piper’s Summer Camp this July, held on Dongan Lawn of Fort Tryon Park. PPCT Artistic Director Colleen Hawks-Pierce and PPCT Kids Director, Yvonne Anderson-Bill will team up with Pied Piper young adult alumni, Maggie Attaway and Genevieve Windbiel to offer the following activities and classes:
- Improvisational Acting and Theatre Games
- Musical Theatre
- Vocal Coaching
- Dance Improvisation
- Shakespeare for Kids
- The Science of Theatre
- Devising Theatre
- Stage Make-up
- Art projects!
July 5th - August 1st
Monday - Friday,
10am-3pm
with final showcase performance on
Sunday, August 1st
$975 per student
Other PPCT alumni, Adam Burby and Omar Camps Kamrin will hold master classes with the kids in Stage Combat Movement and Music Foundation, including beginner lyric writing and song writing.

Participants will be required to wear masks and follow Covid-safety protocols. Kids should wear comfortable clothes they can move in and bring a packed lunch and full water bottle each day— we will have water available for refills and will also be taking breaks throughout the day in the shade. When weather does not permit, we will need to pivot to some Zoom sessions or shorten that day’s activities.
