We have been going through a big change. For 20 years, PPT provided kids with the experience of live theatre from the home base of Holy Trinity Church in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood of Inwood. There, kids found a caring and supportive place to learn not only about the craft of theatre, but also about themselves. Hundreds of kids from the neighborhood and beyond passed through our doors and found confidence, camaraderie, joy, and a sense of belonging.

As Holy Trinity embarked on an extensive renovation in 2019, PPT was no longer able to be housed there. In November 2018, PPT became an independent 501(c)(3) and new rehearsal and performance space was secured. While our physical location may have changed, the values of this inclusive, diverse, and character building program have not. As we navigated through these location changes and the Covid pandemic, Pied Piper continued to be an important asset to the community and a safe, creative, social outlet for our kids.
